What does custom web app development cost?

What is a progressive web app, and when is it the right choice?

A progressive web app (PWA) is a web app users can install straight from the browser – it gets an icon on the home screen, loads fast and can cache data for offline use. It is the right choice when you want app-like convenience without app-store distribution: internal tools, B2B portals, or products where sending a link beats asking people to install something. If you later need deep device access, the shared backend makes adding a native app straightforward.

Do I need a web application, or is a website enough?

A website presents – a web application does. If visitors mainly need information about your company, a WordPress site is usually the faster, cheaper answer, and we build those too. A web app is worth it when users log in and work with data: managing orders, tracking time, viewing dashboards. In the first conversation we help you sort this out honestly – selling you a web app you do not need helps nobody.

Can a web app and a mobile app share the same backend?

Yes – that is exactly how we build. Our backends run as Go, .NET or Node.js services on Google Cloud Run and expose REST or GraphQL APIs that browser front ends and mobile apps consume alike. Start with a web app today and add an iOS or Android client later, or the other way round – the business logic, database and user accounts stay in one place instead of being duplicated.

Can you connect the web app to our existing systems and data?

In most projects that is the point. We integrate through REST and GraphQL APIs and have connected external data sources in production – for example the European DATEX II standard for charging-station data in our charging and electricity price app. Whether it is your CRM, an ERP or a partner API: if there is an interface, we can build against it, and if there is none, we discuss realistic workarounds before the project starts.
