What our mobile app development covers

If you are comparing app developers for hire, here is what working with us includes – from the first line of code to years after launch.

Cross-Platform Apps with Flutter

Flutter app development gives you one codebase that runs natively on iOS and Android. You pay for one development track and still get an app that feels right on both platforms.

Native iOS & Android Where It Matters

Some features need deeper device access than cross-platform frameworks expose. Via Method Channels we extend Flutter with native Swift or Kotlin – we have done this for telephony, sensors, geodata and Garmin devices, and we build fully native Android apps when a project demands it.

App Store Launch & Review

We prepare both store listings, handle signing, certificates and privacy declarations, and guide your app through Apple and Google review. The launch is part of the project, not an extra you have to figure out yourself.

Maintenance & Further Development

New OS versions, changing store requirements and user feedback all need attention after launch. We keep your app up to date and develop it further in planned iterations – at a pace you decide.

Why custom mobile app development pays off

MVP first, agile milestones, honest price ranges

A custom app makes sense when off-the-shelf software stops fitting the way you work – or when the app itself is your product. Our projects show what that looks like in practice: a time-tracking app with geo-fencing, a charging and electricity price app built on AFIR and DATEX II data, a natively developed Android auto-dialer, and Klaimo, a bike-tracking app. Together, the apps we have built have passed 500,000 downloads. That experience matters less as a headline number and more in the details – store review quirks, offline behaviour, battery drain – problems we have already solved once, so you do not pay to solve them again.

We work in small, verifiable steps. Most projects start with an MVP: the smallest version of your app that real users can test, typically within a few weeks. From there we develop in agile milestones – you see working software at every stage and can adjust direction before money is spent in the wrong place. Backends run on Google Cloud Run and are written in Go, .NET or Node.js, depending on what fits your project. We are based in Regensburg and work remotely with clients across Germany and internationally; on-site meetings can be arranged. And you reach us directly – write to us and you get an answer within 24 hours on business days.

The price of an app is driven by scope, not by mystery: how many screens and user roles, whether you need a backend, which third-party systems have to be integrated, and how much native functionality is required. To make budgeting realistic from day one, we work with transparent ranges: an MVP costs €2,700–6,000, a business app with backend and integrations €7,000–13,000, and complex apps start at €20,000. Whatever the scope, you own 100% of the source code – you should never be locked in to your developers. That includes us.

Process

How your app project runs

Four steps from idea to release — with clear milestones and a working build at every stage, so you always know exactly where your project stands.

01

Strategy

Goals, scope and architecture defined properly — including an honest read on effort, risks and the budget range.

02

Design

Clear, usable interfaces that make sense without a manual.

03

Development

Frontend, backend and APIs in clear milestones — after every step you get a version you can actually run.

04

Launch

Testing, store release and a clean handover — full source code included.

Pricing

Transparent pricing for app development

Every project is different, but you deserve a real number before the first call: three realistic price ranges to orient you — your actual cost range is fixed before the project starts, not after.

FAQ

Common questions about software development

How much does it cost to develop an app?

It depends on scope, which is why we work with transparent ranges instead of vague quotes. An MVP costs €2,700–6,000, a business app with backend and integrations €7,000–13,000, and complex apps start at €20,000. In a free initial call we go through your requirements and tell you honestly which range your project falls into – and what you could cut to stay in a smaller one.

How long until my app is in the App Store and on Google Play?

An MVP is usually ready for its first testers within a few weeks; how long exactly depends on the scope of the first version, and we give you a realistic schedule before development begins. Store review by Apple and Google adds a few more days, and we plan that in from the start – including a buffer for rejections, which we resolve for you.

Can you build for iOS and Android at the same time?

Yes – that is the main reason we build with Flutter. One codebase compiles into a native app for both platforms, so features, fixes and design changes arrive on iOS and Android simultaneously. You avoid paying for two development tracks, and the two apps never drift apart. Where a platform needs special treatment – deep Android telephony access, for example – we add native code exactly there, and only there.

What happens after the launch?

The launch is a milestone, not the end. Apple and Google ship new OS versions every year, and apps that are not maintained gradually break or get removed from the stores. We offer maintenance on flexible terms: OS and dependency updates, bug fixes, monitoring and new features in planned iterations. There is no forced subscription – you choose whether we stay on board, and at what level.

Who owns the code?

You do – 100% of the source code and all related rights are transferred to you. There is no vendor lock-in: you receive the complete repository and documentation, and any developer can take the project over at any time. We think that is the only fair arrangement – it keeps us motivated to earn the follow-up work on merit rather than on dependency.

Can I come to you with just an idea, without a finished concept?

Yes – most projects start exactly that way. In a free initial call we help you sharpen the idea: what problem the app solves, which features belong in a first version and which can wait. You then receive a written proposal with scope and a price range, with no obligation attached. A polished concept document is not required; a clear problem is enough.
