SB-Techworks is a software company based in Regensburg, Germany, founded in 2024. We build custom applications for iOS and Android, along with the backends and web interfaces behind them – for companies whose needs off-the-shelf software cannot cover.
SB-Techworks was founded by Karim Belkacem, who also builds the projects himself. What that means for you: whoever takes down your requirements also writes the code afterwards. Questions get resolved in conversation rather than through ticket systems, and decisions are made on the spot.
What we build
The technical focus is Flutter: one codebase that produces native apps for both iOS and Android. Where things get platform-specific – telephony, sensors, geodata, wearables – we reach straight into the operating system through method channels.
Then the server side: backends in Go, .NET or Node.js, running on Google Cloud and Cloud Run. For projects with large data volumes or real-time requirements, this is the part that decides whether the product works – and usually the more demanding one.

Four projects show the range: time tracking with geo-fencing for companies with several locations, an EV charging and electricity-price app built on official AFIR/DATEX II data, an auto-dialer using native Android telephony, and Klaimo – a gamified cycling app, our own product, published on the App Store and Google Play.
Three of them are client projects and therefore anonymised; the technical execution is described in full for each.
